Dukes Avenue was founded by Sarah Borg Barthet in early 2018, whilst living on Dukes Avenue in Chiswick, London. Named after the location it all started, Dukes Avenue launched as a personal blog and passion project, and an escape from a corporate career in asset management
What began as a creative outlet gradually evolved into a new fully-fledged career and lifestyle brand, designed to inspire readers to live the life of their dreams – what we consider true luxury
Fast forward five years, Dukes Avenue has evolved from a personal blog into an online resource for every modern woman looking to luxe up her life – whatever that means to her. And whether that’s through travel, fine dining or the latest beauty must-haves, we’ve got you covered, with the help of other talented writers who are experts in their respective fields.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
SARAH BORG BARTHET
Sarah grew up in Malta, before moving to London in 2011. She completed a Masters in Finance with Distinction and spent almost a decade working at London-based hedge funds before founding Dukes Avenue. It was during this time that she was able to travel the world and explore all of its possibilities, and it very much served as inspiration for the content created for Dukes Avenue.
In addition to her role at Dukes Avenue, she is also a syndicated freelance writer for the AP Wire and TownNews syndicates, as well as a Direct MSN publisher. She has been featured across various national publications, including the San Francisco Examiner, Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal, Citizen Tribune, The Weather Channel and more.
